METHOD

Crispy Chicken Strips

  • 1. Marinate the chicken strips with garlic, tomato paste, spice powders, ¾ Knorr Chicken Seasoning Powder, Knorr Lime seasoning Powder, Corn Oil for minimum 2 hours
  • 2. Add balance Knorr Chicken Seasoning Powder to the flour for extra flavour boost. Keep the ice water ready for the frying technique
  • 3. To fry with crispy layers: Dust the chicken strips in flour then dip into ice water for a few seconds. Coat the wet chicken once more in the flour creating layers with your fingers by pressing and releasing a few times. Fry the strips last minute until golden brown

Salad, Vegetables and Dressing

  • 1. Sauté onions and peppers in olive oil until tender
  • 2. Wash and keep mint leaves for filling
  • 3. Mix garlic paste with Hellmann’s Real Mayonnaise

To serve

  • Flash heat the tortilla wraps for a few seconds before placing a little mayo on top. Place mint and sautéed vegetables before adding crispy chicken, more garlic mayo and finally Knorr Thai sweet chili sauce. Close the wrap and serve with French fries.

100g Chicken breast, strips
2g Garlic Paste
4g Tomato Paste
0.5g Allspice powder
4g Knorr Chicken Seasoning Powder
5g Knorr Lime Seasoning Powder
5g Corn Oil
50g Self-raising flour
10ml Ice water
0.5g Cinnamon powder

Salad, Vegetables and Dressing

15g Large onions, thinly sliced
10g Green bell peppers, thinly sliced
10g Red Bell peppers,thinly sliced
10g Yellow bell pepper , sliced
5ml Olive oil
10 Mint leaves
6g Garlic Paste
60g Hellmann's Real Mayonnaise

To Serve

1 Tortilla
50ml Knorr Thai Sweet Chilli Sauce
10g Plain yoghurt
0.5g Crushed pepper powder
